I have always been somewhat of a hedonist. Truly enjoying what life has to offer. Wine was introduced to me by my mum. The first time I had a sip was at Sunday dinner. And although I had a short romance with the sweeter stuff, wine and I became lovers.
“A serious lover”
Somewhere around 2006 – 2007, I even obtained various diplomas for wine tasting, chemistry of wine and even gastronomy. During holidays I drove down to France to buy wine and champagne. Yes, a serious lover indeed. I never ended up in the wine business, though.
“Relight my fire”
That’s why I really enjoy the opportunity to relight my fire. One of my paintings will be destined to become a label for an Italian winery. And just as the owner of the vineyard and just as the wine, it’s going to be a spicy one.
